Raccoons on the Roof Baglio, Ben M. Raccoons move from one house to the other. The twokids, Mandy and Courtney, feed the raccoons. Courney's dad tries to kill the raccoons with traps. It is a good book, especially for people who like raccoons. ___

Labrador Baglio, Ben M. Mary and James go on vacation and find a dog with a sore paw. They help it and the owner goes to their house and finds it. The owner invites them to the other sanctuary and two others get set free together. It feels like an adventure. Some parts are guessable, and some parts are surprising. B.K.L.

Ghost hotel Slade. It's about a girl that's on a farm and gets picked up by another family. They stay at a hotel and find her gravestone. Is she dead or alive? "She walks quietly down the stairs until a crash. A big boulder flew overhead and breaks the stairs." ___

Harry Potter: half blood prince Rowling, J.K. This is a very good and interesting book. I think it is the best Harry Potter book there is. ___

Goddesses Muten, Burliegh. This book is very exciting. It tells you a lot about the goddesses in the book. It is also very helpful. A goddess whose name means heavenly holds a globe of stars and planets. ___

Venus among the fishes Hall, Elizabeth. This book is about two dolphins who are looking for their brother and get captured by humans. Their brother was also captured by humans before them. These humans are nice people. They won't hurt the dolphins. In this book they have great adventures. G.W.

Sammy Keyes and the Hollywood mummy Van Draanen, Wendel. Sammy Keyes is a smart 13-year-old detective. Her mother lives in Hollywood as an actress and Sammy barely gets to see her. When Sammy and her friend Mirissa go off to Hollywood for the weekend they didn't know what they were getting themselves into. Now they have to stay in a house with a real live mummy and a man who thinks his wife has come back from the dead. I like this book because Sammy is smart and exciting.
