ECEAP is a state support program for children.
The majority of children enrolled are 4 years old by August 31st.
The program provides quality preschool education, health and
nutrition services, and family support to income-eligible children
and their families. ECEAP is a family-focused program that
provides the following:
Preschool experience, activities that build self esteem, developmental
screenings, small classes, transportation, health and nutrition
education, medical dental, vision and hearing screening, a hot
lunch, and nutritious snacks.
For families, the program offers parent groups and classes, information
and referral to community resources; job training and employment
programs, opportunities for personal growth, empowerment and leadership
development; and information on health, nutrition, and child development.
