DRAFT -State Framework

The Arts EALR'S

   Students will develop the skills and techniques needed to produce fabricated and cast jewelry. They will create rings, bracelets, pins, and earrings, using a variety of techniques and materials. Sterling silver is primarily used. Students will have the opportunity to experience some beginning glass techniques as well. Students work may be selected for show in galleries.

·           Intro, examples, fee, expectations & policies, storage, safety, copper fabrication
            worksheet
·           Planished pierced copper cuff bracelet
·           Demo soldering, Tri-metal pin/key chain
·           Add project, subtract project, domed ring (maybe only 2 depending on time)
·           Glass bead demo, wire-wrapping demo, wire-wrapping worksheet
·           Wire projects (choose one from each category)

·            Casting
·            Enamel (if time), all projects due
·            Final evaluation & clean up
