Engineering Graphics This course is primarily for the student who would like to explore technical drawing, drafting, sketching and look into careers in the engineering area. During the semester, basic drafting skills will be covered and a study of what an engineer, architect, and planner does in their daily work. Software used: Mastercam Engineering Graphics II: This course will use the skills in Engineering Graphics I and further develop basic drafting skills. Each student will be expected to complete one set of home or commercial building plans, and construct a scale model of that plan. Students will also work with CAD system to create plans and drawings. You do not need to be a computer expert to be in this course. We will review computer operations and use of each machine. |
