Course Description
This course is
designed to prepare students with the knowledge, skills, and
attitudes that will help them make wise choices for their future
and to better prepare them for the world of work. Students will
research careers of interest and be knowledgeable about the
steps required to achieve success. They will also receive
practical consumer skills that they will need to succeed in the
ever-changing world in which we live. Topics covered in this
area include, but are not limited to, effective communication,
personal development, money and time management, banking
services, the cost of credit, taxes, and getting ready to move
