YMCA After-School On-Site Shared-Space Childcare
The Peninsula School District has contracted with
the YMCA to run Before and After School Childcare programs at
Artondale, Harbor Heights, Minter Creek, Purdy, Vaughn and Voyager
elementary school sites. Discovery Elementary is continuing
their Before & After School child care at the Purdy site, with
transportation provided by the school district.
The YMCA also operates
extended
days during parent/teacher conference sessions and other early
dismissal days, and will be operating full-day hours
(6:30am-6:30pm) during staff in-service days and seasonal breaks,
excluding holidays.
As a service to parents, we will be placing elementary children
who are not picked up by 3:40pm in the YMCA childcare.
If you are held up in traffic or an appointment is taking longer
than planned, you can be assured that your child is in a safe
place,
on campus.
The YMCA will settle the fee with you when you pick up your
child/children.
