Safety Message from the Superintendent
A Safe Learning Environment for All Students and Staff is the number one goal of the Peninsula School District. It is through the achievement of this goal that all of the other goals are possible. Recently, there have been several instances of violence at schools around the country that have been in the news. All schools in the Peninsula School District schedule fire drills, earthquake drills and lockdown drills regularly throughout the year. Each year, procedures for these drills are reviewed and revised as necessary. We will continue this practice and will pay special attention to what is learned from recent events so that we are providing students with a safe environment where their focus can be on learning. If you wish to view
your school’s drill schedule, please contact your school's main office.
