THE ROMAN EMPERORS

I. ASSIGNMENT

A. Read about the various Roman emperors of the Early Empire on pages 159 to 162 in

     your textbook.

B. Based on the information contained in the text, write an editorial to a fictional Roman

    newspaper either criticizing or applauding the political, economic, and social

    conditions that existed under the various emperors.

C. Your editorial needs take a definitive stand and make reference to specific evidence in

     the textbook.

II. ASSESSMENT

A. This will be evaluated as a typical homework assignment.  This means your 

     information should be organized, accurate, and complete.

B. This assignment will be due at the beginning of next class.
