ASSIGNMENT: CLASSICAL VALUES
This assignment will ask you to analyze how well one of the literary characters in Antigone and the historical figure Julius Caesar reflect a classical ideal. To complete this assignment you will again need to write an expository paragraph. This assignment will count equally in both classes since you are drawing upon knowledge from both English and history.
A. How well did Julius Caesar and either Antigone or Creon embody one of the classical values or ideals?
B. Your answer must be supported with at least two direct quotes, one from each content area.
A. Use a standard paragraph format to write your response.
B. Organize your paragraph around a clear and developed topic sentence.
C. Support your answer with specific and detailed examples/evidence from both content areas.
A. The paragraph must be word-processed using an appropriate 12-point font.
B. Set the margins at 1 inch and the spacing at double.
C. Provide a title for your paragraph.

E. Works cited page in proper MLA form.
F. Page numbers are not required for papers shorter than two pages.
