Classical Art/Architecture Assignment

I.                    Assignment

a.       Locate and copy, in color, a picture of a classical art form.

b.      Mount your selection on a piece of colored 8 ½ x 11” construction paper.

c.       Add a caption which gives the title/name of the piece and approximate date.

d.      Write a brief, descriptive paragraph that explains how the work is a good representation of classical art.  Use your text, other references and/or class notes as the foundation for your selection and explanation.

II.                 Evaluation

a.       Accuracy of information

b.      Depth and detail of paragraph

c.       Formal writing style

d.      Quality, neatness, presentation of picture
