A. The purpose of this assignment is for you to gain experience researching a specific topic, finding reliable, accurate sources, and evaluating their credibility.
B. Once you have your topic, you will search for an answer, using at least three (3) different sources. In addition to creating an essay, you will be creating an Annotated Bibliography for this assignment. An annotated bibliography includes a list of sources (in correct MLA format) on your topic along with a brief description and evaluation of each source.
C. You will need to write a concise annotation that summarizes the central theme and scope of the book or article. Include one or more sentences that (a) evaluate the authority or background of the author, (b) comment on the intended audience, (c) compare or contrast this work with another you have cited, and (d) explain how this work illuminates your research topic.
D. Your assignment will include the following requirements:
1. word-processed, 12 to 14 pt. font, and 1” margins
2. your research, including the answers to the 10 required questions
3. an evaluation of the credibility, accuracy, and thoughtfulness of the source (See C),
