Night and the The Holocaust

Common Project

You have read about basic historical events leading up to the Holocaust and learned about the perpetrators of those events. In pairs, you are to create the front page of a daily newspaper in the United States published during the 1930 – 1940’s. The articles you write (2 articles per person), should be a fact based, relevant lead story with related pictures highlighting the events in Germany that culminated in World War II and the Holocaust. This article should include factual data from different sources (this can be from primary and secondary sources), contain organized information in the journalistic style.

 

Note:  The leaders carrying out genocide against the Jews tried to hide these events from the world .

 

Your articles must include the following content:

Class Presentation: (Due Date: Friday 5-19)

You will present your article in your English class.  Both partners must participate equally.

The grade will count equally in both English and Western Civilization.  Your presentation must be between 2-5 minutes in length and include:
