Character Mask Assignment

Lord of the Flies

For this assignment you will be asked to create a mask reflecting the personality traits of one of the characters in Lord of the Flies. Some hints:

o       Look back over your notes and homework for details about the characters, their personalities and how they change over the course of the novel.

o       Be creative.  You may use just about anything to make you mask: fabric, tin foil, wood, beads, paint, paper, construction paper, markers, etc.

o       Make a conscious effort to create a mask that is clearly one of the characters in the novel

o       Quality, effort, creativity will be rewarded
