A. As a group, write a creative, interesting and historically accurate R.A.F.T. dealing
with the ideas of the Enlightenment.
1. Role: You will assume the role of at least one of the individual philosophers
from the Enlightenment
2. Audience: Gathering at Marie-Therese de Geoffrin’s salon
3. Format: Some possible formats include, but are not limited to: announcement,
complaint, dialogue, diary, editorial eulogy, interview, journal, letter, memo,
news story, obituary, poem, recommendation, undercover report, or song.
Select a format that allows you to be both informative and creative.
4. Topic: What was wrong with absolutism and how should it be reformed?
