Sophomore Exhibition Outline

 

Assignment:

After you have found your preliminary sources and taken notes, use them to create your detailed outline.  Write a formal outline that reflects the logical flow of your main ideas and thoroughly develops your thesis.

 

Format:

Use the outline format that appears below.  Word-process and double-space your outline.  Your final paper should be based on the structure of your outline

 

You must attach copies of your sources with your outline.

 

Draft:

You will attach this scored outline to the draft.  Make any changes necessary to this outline (when it is scored and returned to you) and turn in the revised outline with the draft.

 

Assessment:

The scoring guide for the outline appears on the other side of this paper. This outline counts for 200 points in your Western Civilization Class.  The outline is due to your Western Studies teacher  on April 7. Important: a Works Cited Page is mandatory.  You outline will not be graded until you complete this requirement!
