Busy at work the first day!

SCHOOL SUPPLY LIST 2008-2009  FOR STUDENTS

in Mrs. Ekberg’s Kindergarten

Please label individually the following supplies which will be kept by each student (notebooks and folders: name in top right hand corner):

* 1 backpack (to be brought to and from school each day, name clearly visible) No wheels, please!

* 1 school box with lid (approximately 5 by 8 inches-not any larger)

* 2 pocket folders (example:  Pee Chee)

* 3 wide-ruled spiral notebooks (make sure they are spiral bound with non-perforated pages)

* 1 pair pointed scissors

* 10 #2 pencils (please sharpen at home)

* 1 package wide-tip colored markers (label individually)

* 1 box of 18 or more sharpened colored pencils

* 1 clipboard

* 1 small recent individual photograph (no larger than 1-1/2 by 2 in.)

*  4 medium glue stick

* 1 box crayons-any size

* 1 wide tip highlighter marker (any color)

Required school supplies that will be pooled:  (no individual labels needed.  Please send in a separate sack labeled with the word “POOL”).

* 3 medium glue sticks (solid white glue, not clear liquid glue)

* 10 #2 pencils (PLEASE SHARPEN AT HOME)

* 1 jar rubber cement

* 1 box of Kleenex

* 1 package low odor Dry Erase wide-tip markers (blue, red, green, black only please)

* 1 roll of transparent tape

* 1 pad of Post-It Notes

* 2 black fine point Sharpie permanent markers

Please come prepared with all of your supplies on the first day of school, Wednesday, September 3, 2008

Also, all students need to bring a check for $2.50 payable to National Geographic.
