Grading Total Grade = 50% Assignments + 50% Tests/Projects

Assignments

Assignments are scored based on effort to follow instructions completely. Assignments turned in after they are due will not receive points but will be noted by an "L" in grade reports to show completion.

Absences: Students who are absent must complete and turn in assignments within one school week of their return.

Tests/Projects

Tests and projects are based on quality and accuracy. Projects turned in up to one school week late will be accepted, but will receive fewer points (roughly 10%). Unit tests can be retaken within one school week on the student's own time, and the original and retake scores will be averaged.

Tracking Grade Data

Participating parents may visit the password protected “read-only” website to view their students’ grades, assignments, daily attendance, course history, and demographic data. 

Log on to http://pcxp.peninsula.wednet.edu and click on Register.  Fill in all the blanks (including your email address, even though the form says it is optional).

Your registration will be processed and your User ID and password will be sent to GHHS within 7 days of registration.  You may pick up your User ID and password (photo ID will be required as a security measure) at the GHHS office.
