Browsing and Requesting

Media Items in

Peninsula School District

Media items in the district have been decentralized and are now housed in the schools that use them the most. Hopefully this will provide teachers with the resources they need in a more immediate fashion.

You can still browse the entire district collection, see where an item is housed, and then make arrangements to borrow the item.

To browse the entire district collection, go to this URL from any district computer:

http://dewey/media/wx/s.dll

From there, enter your search into the search box.

The results page lists items that match your search. Select the item you would like to view.

Information about that item is displayed. To find out where the item is housed, click on the "Copies" link.

 

 

The "owning school" is displayed. You may then contact the library staff at that school to make arrangements to borrow the item. Library staff names are provided below and are current as of 10/2003.
