Hi 
     I'm Ms. Allen, the first year Spanish teacher at Peninsula High School, which feels very natural to me since I graduated from Peninsula.  I'm also an alumnus of the U. of W. and attended the University of Veracruz in Mexico.  I've been lucky enough to travel to Europe and Mexico several times and lived for three years in the Middle East.
       I have two daughters who are also graduates of Peninsula.     Kate, is an architect, is married, and just received her masters in architecture from the U.  Molly has studied in London, will be graduating soon in civil engineering from Cal Poly, and has accepted a job in Southern California.
     I love music, buy far too many CD's and love going to concerts.  I also love kids and really like what I do every day. 
     My classes are really great and I love it that my former students come to see me often.  I'm available during tutorial, second period,  and after school.  I can always be e-mailed at school at allenkj@peninsula.wednet.edu.
